At a time when the State and the Central Governments are encouraging the poor by giving attractive subsidy for constructing toilets in all households, a lower level government employee has sought to divorce his wife for repeatedly telling him to construct a lavatory in their house. The court dismissed the petition after advising the man to create the facility considering the dignity of his wife.
