Hi I would like to know more about srivatsa gotra

While the gotras were classified initially according to nine (?) rishis, the pravaras were classified under the names of the following seven rishis:

• Agastya
• Angirasa
• Atri
• Bhrigu
• Kashyapa
• Vasistha
• Vishvamitra

So Srivatsa is not one of the original Gotra.
