Namaste,
All the world's genius comes from divine gift. IN this thread, I wish to learn from such stories.
i) Math genius Ramanujam: He is said to have been gifted by goddess Namagiri. It is said, he would dream of complex solutions to very difficult Math problems, and then wake up in the middle of the night and jot down the solutions in a handy notebook. Such is the gift of 'gnana' from the goddess!
ii) Poet Kalidasa: Kalidasa is said to be born not a poet but an average person in his intellect, and under-educated but with a very handsome bearing. Attracted to his handsome appearence, it is said the princess of the state married him but started insulting him for his uneducated manners. Kalidasa is said to have been pushed to suicide, but at that point, goddess Kali emerged and gave him the gift of poetry and he became one of the 9 gems of the king's court.
I am able to think of another saint, but I forget his name, is it Sri Arunagirinathar, who started singing suddenly great verses on praise of his god, after divine intervention and inspiration?
I welcome such stories in this thread. Please share if you know of any such stories.
Thanks,
JR
