Significance of Shadbala

Again, this is a query on Jyotish, and hopefully, may better sense prevail this time around.

I have a doubt on shadbala. Suppose a certain planet, say jupiter, has the following in terms of shadbala:

shadbala=557, In Rupas=9.30, % of Strength=143

What do we conclude from the above data, and why? Please explain in detail, as to why this calculation is more important than exaltation of the planets and the rest.

significance of shadbala

Dear Mr.Suresh,

It appears on paper that Jupiter is quite strong. But, the value of
each different balas, particularly sthana bala and chesta bala, would
enable us to predict the influence of this planet. I do not know the
intention behind this query since you have not indicated the shadbala
of other planets and the dasa and bukthi of the native at current point
of time.

As I said in my earlier posting on this subject, take a particular horoscope
and analyse it , correlating the events to all the relevant aspects
necessary for horoscope reading in totality.
