Is Indian constitution perfect? Not by a mile. It can always be modified.

.

Can you name the Constitution of a country which you deem perfect....?

For minds which are in favour of action and against slogans…..

Why are the Indian Media and Intellectuals anti-Hindu?

BY MANAS / OPINIONS / 28 MAR 2016

Indian media though shouts and cringes on slight vibration is simply cowardly west worshiping and nation hating. Looking at the different reports ranging from white lies and imagined truths the media clearly has shown one trait time and often. Any atrocity where Hindus or Hindu is a victim is down played under reported or not reported at all.

On the other hand when the victim belongs to another religion the atrocities are even imagined and even a horse gets a hero status if it can be used to attack BJP or Narendra Modi.

Even if we say that BJP is a pro-Hindu party, why do these media men women take pride in demeaning and demonizing a major chunk of population in India? It is a serious question that these so called bearers of Truth need to be asked: “Why does an injury to horse which was used by Police to crush a protest from BJP workers seems somehow more important and worthy of attention than the killing of a Hindu in Kerala on the same day?”

There are no debates oped and edit columns seen when these incidents happen where the victims are Hindu. what do these media houses think there duty is to tarnish the image of the country and make the majority Hindus demonized creatures throughout the world like Jews have been made in the Islamic world? Even in International media, there is no outrage when a Jew is attacked or stabbed in Germany for something that has happened in Iraq or Syria or Palestine.

Returning to our topic regarding Indian media, it’s mission nowadays seems to be to demonize Hindus and thereby create an impression that India today under Modi is like Iran where no one is allowed to raise his voice.

But let us have a look at the facts. Dadri incident happened where a personal scuffle resulted in death of one Ikhlaq and Media was quick to add beef to it.

Every week there is a news mostly from Kerala where Hindus are hacked to death mercilessly either allegedly by communist activists or Muslim fundamentals. If we look at the coverage that media gives to these incidents one is forced to admit that they treat these murders as less important than the injury to a police horse.

To add salt to the injury, these same media men and women go on painting Hindu organizations as intolerant violent and some politicians and some self styled intellectuals equate them with barbaric and savage ISIS people.

This is an irony people from Hindu organizations are killed with impunity even the protest marches are attacked and the media and these so called intellectuals label Hindus as intolerant and violent.

P.S: This is for the minds that crave for action.... and against slogans......just a thought....sending persons like Hitler on a tour to this Forum for a brief stay and contribution would have been a good idea.LOL

Persons having mentality of an evil dictator can only be dealt with ..........

Why are we thought tolerance, tolerance should be allowing other religions to practice their faith freely, but unfortunately people are using as an opportunity to humiliate Hindus. & religion.

I think the problem is that we are not about our religion & culture, if we were ,we would not have the likes of the Dravidian movements take our culture through the mud.

So the first it is important that we teach our community to be proud of our culture & heritage.

Whose culture, yours or your husbands or your imaginary friends.
If we know you from your earlier posts we must assume that is NB culture.
Are you trying to tell that TB's don't have respect for their culture? Do we need someone from outside the community to teach us?
Wow what audacity.

My posts was talking about Indian Constitution only. Please do not try to change the subject. Just by wrapping yourself in Tri-color or draping yourself in orchard robe, no one proves their love of the religion or country.

Instead of answering my question your trying find out an escape route by mention of words like tri-colour, drapping in orchard robe, love to religion, etc all proves indirectly that you have nothing to explain. LOL

While you have got every liberty to comment on Indian Constitution, equally I have got every liberty to call for some explanation.

One cannot simply bury his head on sand and come here to raise hue and cry by preaching like a sadhu and writing like a yogi. LOL

And last but not least, I love to deal with biased minds.

Dear member you should try to understand that commenting on a country's Constitution may attract, if I am right, sections of Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971. I am exploring..........

Some minds love to pretend like an anti-Hindu and thus try to attract attention of other members by their much malingned......

How being anti-Hindu became fashionable among India's middle-class

Despite the chilling brutality of the Islamic State (ISIS), the harsh laws of Sunni Saudi Arabia and the hate speeches of mullahs from Tehran to Islamabad, the more extremist strains of radical Islam receive less criticism than they deserve.

Few want to meet the fate of the journalists and cartoonists of Charlie Hebdo, murdered by Islamist terrorists, or Kamlesh Tiwari, still languishing in jail nearly a year after his allegedly derogatory comments on the Prophet.
Islamaphobia is rightly condemned. Hinduphobia though is acceptable in living rooms across upper middle-class urban India where secular poseurs are many in number.

Excerpt:

'India's religious diversity though is deeply embedded. Six of India's highest constitutional functionaries have recently been Sikh (prime minister), Christian (UPA chairperson), Muslim (chief election commissioner), Parsi (chief justice of India), Dalit (speaker of the Lok Sabha) and Hindu (president).

Atrocities

Politicians are the worst offenders. Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee turns a blind eye to atrocities by Muslims against Hindus.

In a brazen exhibition of communal politics, she does so in order to secure Bengal's 27 per cent Muslim electorate that, along with a small slice of the Hindu majority, can guarantee her over 40 per cent of the vote-share and a near-landslide in a four-cornered contest with the Left, BJP and fr-enemy Congress.

This sort of communal polarisation suits the BJP. The rise of majoritarianism has underpinned its success in states like Assam.

The biggest loser has been the Congress, the original communal polariser in the 1985 Shah Bano case. It is now reaping the ill wind.

The rise of Hindu extremist fringe elements is a direct consequence of decades of political parties pandering to minorities in the name of a fraudulent secularism.

Meanwhile, the 'mild', everyday Hindu, inured to caste stratification, fatalism, karma and centuries of Islamic and

Christian-British subjugation, is an easy target for Hinduphobes.

Uncertain

The Economist's piece on Indian Muslims - 'An Uncertain Community ' - ends with a quote by a veteran Muslim voice:

' 'They called it a secular state, which is why many who had a choice at Partition wanted to stay here,' says Saeed Naqvi, a journalist whose recent book, Being The Other, chronicles the growing alienation of India's Muslims.

'But what really happened was that we seamlessly glided from British Raj to Hindu Raj.'
This is misleading for two reasons. First, it is of course a misnomer to call the British occupation of India the British Raj.

That connotes a benign presence which the occupation was not.

Second, India is hardly a 'Hindu Raj' given the fact that Muslims, Christians, Parsis and others have their own personal laws and, bar isolated incidents, are safer in India than virtually anywhere else in the world.

No individual is SAFE in India! Crimes happen in all the states.

Look at this news dated March 18, 2017:
Muslim Dravidian outfit member hacked to death in Coimbatore

Farook was an atheist and had rigid principles and ideologies, according to reports. Police told Times of India

that Farook was the group admin of one of the WhatsApp groups and he used to post rationalistic views against his

religion on WhatsApp as well as his Facebook page. Police suspect that his anti-Muslim sentiments might have made some

people furious and led to the murder. The surrendered person was identified as M Ansardh, a resident of Podanur.

Maintenance of law and order and prevention of crime are the important portfolios handled mostly by the Chief Ministers of most of the States in India.

And the Chief Minister is none else than the elected representative of the public.

Now who is responsible for the safety of the public.

It is they the public .. are responsible...

It has become a passion in this Forum to play blame game always for everything and anything. LOL

This is only a sample case ......

This will be followed by more such reports of murders and attacks reported already by the other groups on Hindus....

My post was to point out that NO INDIVIDUAL is safe in India.

Even in other countries, hate crimes are happening.

World is slowly becoming unfit to live in peace! Too bad.

It may be your opinion and that need not be right always.

I think I am safe, my family is safe, my city is safe and my country is in safe hands.

If you ask the other member, he would say the world is a nice place to live in.

Is it not that every one is responsible for their own safety?

It is all depends on one's mentality and way we see thro the prism of life.

IMHO it is better to
live and let live.

Oh, yeah!! Some may think like this.....
தீதும் நன்றும் பிறர் தர வாரா.

Few may also think that...
Summa iruththale sugam

The world we live in consists of Good, Bad and Ugly characters.....

What to do..... it happens at times.......

I just remember this proverb
Nandu Kozhuthaal Valayil thangaadu....

I have enough experience in dealing with personalities who sincerely try to pretend themselves as though they are like Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Queen Victoria, Confucius, Plato, Aristotle, etc LOL

It is all in the game.

14 years ago, on that fateful night of the 23rd, they came with guns. As Rahul narrates, Pandits were taken to a courtyard, made to kneel down and and shot in their heads. The assailants didn’t even spare toddlers and Its been fourteen years since the attack took place and battling the haunting memory of that fateful night, the Pandits from Nadimarg still await justice.

14 years ago on this day 24 Kashmiri Pandits were massacred in Nadimarg Kashmir, here’s their story

It was the night of 23rd March 2003. At about 10:30 PM at night masked terrorists entered Nadimarg, a sleepy village in Pulwama District of Jammu and Kashmir and massacred 24 Kashmiri Pandits including men, women and toddlers.
Now 14 years later we revisit the dastardly incident and remember just one aspect of one of the biggest injustices heaped on the citizens of this country since independence. We were aided in this story by the tweets of Journalist Rahul Pandita who provided information which the establishment has tried to hard to stifle.

In 2003 the village of Nadimarg was home to only some 52 Kashmiri Pandits spread across 4 extended families, with others having already fled the valley during the 1990 exodus of their community. In the days leading up to the massacre, on 21st and 22nd March the assailants which comprised of members of a terrorist group and some youths from a nearby village scouted Nadimarg to ascertain the location of the Kashmiri Pandits.

And on that fateful night of the 23rd, they came with guns. As Rahul narrates, Pandits were taken to a courtyard, made to kneel down and and shot in their heads. The assailants didn’t even spare toddlers.

The police later provided a token security to the surviving Pandits in the desperate hope that they stayed on. Not because they wished for the Pandits to remain in their motherland but because they wanted to ensure that the ashes of the victims were disposed off in Kashmir. They feared their making way to Jammu and then possibly getting paraded on the streets could have become an instigator for communal riots.

Mohan Bhatt one of the survivors of this attack recounted how he had managed to save himself by hanging on a roof wedge. His parents, sister and uncle weren’t so fortunate. To further aggravate his pain, the very next day he caught a man from his own village selling his dead mother’s Dejharu, a piece of jewelry sacred to Kashmiri Pandits.

Mohan revealed another shocking detail when he claimed that the terrorists were even accompanied by a few policemen. Even reports from 2003 were suggestive of an investigation against 9 police officers for being complicit in the crime. There were also reports of two terrorists involved in the attack visiting the nearby police picket for months before the attack. But almost all the facts still lie behind a veil of secrecy.

The motive? The assailants reportedly wanted to celebrate Pakistan Resolution Day which also falls on 23rd March or wanted to extol revenge for the post Godhra riots in Gujarat. We might never know as the local police hasn’t made any effort to reveal the identity of the killers let alone punish them.

Most of the above details are a result of a ground zero investigation by Kashmiri Pandit Sangarsh Samiti (KPSS) an organisation formed by a group of Pandits who have stayed back in the valley. The president of KPSS Sanjay K Tikoo called it a well planned attempt and also alleged that nobody has been for the heinous attack.

Its been fourteen years since the attack took place and battling the haunting memory of that fateful night, the Pandits from Nadimarg still await justice.
