Hi all,

This post is regarding relative's naming conventions..

What i know is
We call our
1. mama paiyan - Ammanji
2. mama Ponnu - ammanga
3. Athai Paiyan- Athaan
4. Athai Ponnu - athaanga

Please share with me that how our relatives will be called especially for the following;

Consider me that am from the 3rd generation and need to know the names of 2nd generation especially my mother's cousins and their kids

1. My Mama Thatha's Son & Daughter.. (Here mama thatha comes from - My Mother side Grand mother's Elder borther)

2. My mother's Chithi paiyan
My mother's Chithi paiyana's Son & Daughter
3. My mother's Chithi Ponnu
My mother's Chithi Ponnu's Son & Daughter


4. My mother's Athai paiyan
My mother's Athai paiyan's Son & daughter
5. My mother's Athai Ponnu

8. My mother's Periyappa son
My mother's Periyappa Son's Son & daughter

11. Also please let me know whom we call "Onnu vita" and its possible namings ..
