The mother had enough time to clean up the birth, lick, smell and intially bond with the calf, before they were taken away to live in boxes. Death will ensue in approximately six weeks. Until then, here they remain, unable to move, so as to make their meat ‘tender.’ Then they become veal steaks. Please everyone, for the sake of all — go vegan.” ~ Earthlings

Is it not a better solution to ban calf meat and save the calves, to be nursed by the mother cow?

The calf can NEVER drink all the milk that its mother cow produces!
It is rather impossible to close down the dairy industry all over the world! :lock1:

P.S: And what would the tambrams do without 'thachchi mammu'?? :hungry:

No one has said the calf drink all the Milk, and mother Cow to nurse the calf!

It is an appeal for going Vegan!!

Don't be a Nakkerre in seeing every thing.

All the links between lactation, calf, milk production are broken by modern science. No need to have a stuffed calf to start milking.

Don't get upset P J Sir! If everyone becomes vegan many industries have to be closed! Let the people first become non meat eaters.

Then they can take the next step. Even if half the population becomes vegans, animals will still be slaughtered and eaten! That is the

reality. Please try to understand.

We can follow these strict rules:

1. Don't deprive any calf its mother cow's milk.

2. Don't torture the cows to yield more milk - no hormone injections.

3. Take silk from cocoons only when the butterfly hatches.

and so on............

Dear Sir,

Modern science is the culprit for many sufferings! Science enables to produce so much milk from one cow that even if it is unable to

stand up, it is hung from a 'thooLi' and milked! The cows are kept in cages with no space to move. This is also one type of torture! :sad:

And, some of the videos taken in dairy farms are really disturbing. These cruelty has to be stopped first!

Problem of plenty?

Problems start only when something becomes plenty!

Some examples:

1. Modern science to produce more milk

2. Number of children born

3. Tasmac shops opened in almost every street

4. Lots of porn stuff available even on mobile phones

5. Wide spread corruption that exists with the support of the public

6. High bracket salaries in the I T industries. (Other employees are unable to match them)

This list is endless..............

Madam You said it. You can add one more item: Plenty is also causing plentier unemployment! Basically man should strive to be simple and happy like other creatures.
