Pada yatra rameshwaram to kashi to rameshwaram

Dear All

I intend to do pada yatra from Rameshwaram to Kashi to Rameshwaram. I wish to know if there are Groups who do it now a days or is it done mainly on individual basis. Do individuals doing this yatra on foot get together? Please do give any inputs on these.

Dear Sri Srikanth,

Some years back I came across a news item on such "Pada Yathra" undertaken by a devout group of people from Nagarathaar Community (Nattukkottai Chettiar) from Karaikudi (or Rameswaram ?) to Kashi. Perhaps you may get more information from their Community Group or Association in Chennai or Karaikudi.
