Opinion about Father by son

Does this has any relevance to us? We are neither in sync with our traditions & customs nor with the modernity of these days. We are striving hard to find acceptance from our grandchildren by wearing shorts, t-shirts, SMS-English, American slang, 24-hour-televised-cinema, hair-dye, etc.

P.J. Sir,

We give so much freedom to our children that they choose their dress, food, entertainment, career, match, and almost everything. We do not give any counsel nor our counsel is solicited. Where is the question of son feeling all these?

Sir,

It may not be in your case; but in general Boys behavior /opinion about their father is almost similar to the one depicted above.

Sir,

Learning process involves trial and error. The young generation is smart, speed and have good judgement. They have good exposure too. IMHO there are certain areas where one needs to learn from them.

With regards,

Paddu Sir

Quoted below are two observations of Mark Twain:

" When I was a boy of fourteen, my Father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man
around. But when I got to be twenty one, I was astonished how much he’d learned in just seven years! "

" By the time a man realizes that maybe his Father was right, he usually has a son
who thinks he’s wrong " .

I guess, the reality lies somewhere in-between !
