Pleasures are greatest in anticipation.

Just remember that this is true of troubles also.

The best argument is one which

seems to be merely an explanation.

Parents spend the first part of a child's life in getting it to walk and talk

and the rest of the childhood in getting it to keep still and shut up.

There are no more disturbing emergencies,

than those which result from one's own actions.

The wise do not merely drain away old grudges;

They constantly refill the pool of their lives,

with fresh dreams and enthusiasm.

A little learning is not a dangerous thing for one,

who does not mistake it for a great deal.

He who does not trust others is himself not trustworthy.

Humanity and Humility.

Infinity is undefined just as zero is, but the similarity ends there. Zero is undefined

in itself-but not in the magnificent manner of Infinity but in the most

contrastingly pathetic manner!

Zero means naught/ nothing! It is emptiness, soonyam, vacant, vacuum, the

lowest point of reality.

The Laws governing zero are equally pathetic too!

1. o + o = o.

2. o - o = o.

3. o x o = o.

4. o / o = o.

Whether you add, subtract, multiply or divide two zeroes they still remain a zero!

If zero must have an existence of its own, a value attached to it, it should first

have the good sense and humility to attach itself, behind the number 1 or one of

its multiples. If it tries to stand in front of the 1 arrogantly as 01, it will get promptly

dropped down like a hot-potato!

But if it adds itself behind the 1 as 10, 100, 1000, 10000, etc it gains value by

enhancing the value of 1.

Every Jeevaathmaa is a ZERO by itself! It will get value (Sat, Chit and

Anandham) only by associating with 1 the Paramaathmaa.
:hail:

Left by itself...it had been , it is and it will be a ZERO and nothing more.

strangely the English word Soonyam also contains the symbol oo of

Infinity but does not not add the glory of oo to the 0!

Deft definitions:

Order...Heaven's First Law.

A proverb...A short sentence based on a long experience.

Genius...two percent Inspiration + 98 percent perspiration.

Procrastination...The thief of Time.

A happily married man...A person whose behavior is unchanged,

whether or not his wife is present.

War... A fire struck in the Devil's tinder box.

Solitude...The nurse of wisdom.

Apology...Egotism, wrong side out.

The outstanding feature of a garrulous bore

is his complete unawareness of that fact.

He who asks a question is a fool for five minutes.

He who does not ask remains a fool for ever.

Hello VR,
I tell you about a person.
A person on a short notice had to make a journey from Chennai to Bangalore by Train.(say on his office work).
He has no reservation.
He goes to the Rly.Station hoping for some open tickets issue .
He finds the tickets are being issued. He is happy that the tickets are being issued,But he is sad that he has to stand in a long Que.As the que moves he is happy that He gets a ticket. Now he is sad that he had to get into a coach as there is heavy crowd in each coach. As the train starts mooving He manages to get into a coach and he is happy.Inside the coach he is sad that he is not able to move inside .He squeezes through the people and finds a place to stand little free and he is happy. As train journey continues he is sad that he feels leg pain .He manages to sit at the edge of a seat and he is happy. After some 1 hour he feels back pain and is sad. He wants to sit comfortably. After fea stations he gets a seat to sit comfortably and he is happy. After some time he is hungry ,Astation comes ,he gets something to eat and he is happy. After some time he feels sad as he feels sleepy but no Sleepe Birth availble. After some time in some station quite some people gets down form the coach he is in and manages to get a top birth(luggage seater).Finaly he is happy for the day that he is able to sleep better.
ONE BASIC NEED IS COMPLETED THE NEXT NEED IS FELT AND MAN LONGS FOR THAT.
LIFE IS JUST LIKE THAT.

Alwan

Dear Mr. Alwan,

I could FEEL the truth in the incident related by you in detail!

Is there a personal touch in it?

Human mind is never satisfied.

Those who are forced to walk, wish to possess at least a bicycle.

Those who ride bicycles wish for a motor bike/ scooter.

Those who possess scooters wish for a car.

Those who have ordinary cars covet for A.C.cars.

Nothing wrong in being ambitious. That is what makes man progress in

life. But when the wishes become greed and the motto becomes

'at any cost'... troubles start brewing! :spider:

with warm regards,
V.R.

Nearly every married man you come across knows

how to govern his wife. Only she would not let him! :high5:

A woman usually forgets her husband's 'past',

if he comes home to her with a 'present'

and tall promises for the 'future'! :drama:

"Marry by all means! If you get a good wife,

you will become very happy.

If you get a bad one,

you will become a philosopher." :eyebrows:

Children can not be made good, by making them happy.:pound:

Children can be made happy, by making them good.:preggers:

The man who rests on his laurels is wearing them in the wrong place.
:mmph:

The larger the island of knowledge,

the longer the shore of wonders.

It takes all kinds of people to make the world.

But at times I wonder whether the proportion is correct!
:noidea:

It is the troubled oyster that produces a pearl.

The unperturbed and happy oyster lives a life of perfect boredom and dies.

It will be leaving behind it nothing useful. :bored:

The oyster under constant irritation lives (and dies) to produce

a lovely and priceless pearl for some pretty girl to wear and enjoy.

Life is like that!

A honest and a serious doubt;

A :wof: spends its entire life barking at the :flame:!

But does that make the :wof: better than the
:flame:?

If you keep your mind sufficiently open,
people will throw a lot of rubbish in it.

Morality is not merely correct sexual behavior
but includes courage and justice in all affairs of life.

All teachers are only parents. What keeps many good teachers going is this feeling expressed in the post by Smt. Visalakshi Ramani! Achaarya Dhevoo Bhava!

Imagination is a poor substitute for experience.

Save for the rainy day. But spend now to mend the roof.:rain:

Once a teacher...always a teacher!

Even if we stop teaching students, we will treat everyone else like our

students and start teaching / preaching.

Look at me for an undeniable example! :blabla:
