[h=1]There were days we spend time only with two channels and limited programmes[/h][h=1]But, today, there are umpteen number of channels, competition, TRP Ratings, etc and ultimately it is commercialized[/h][h=1]With the result, standard of programmes, moral and culture gone down..[/h][h=1]There are people who still believe whatever that shown in TV serials and films are true..[/h]
How are we going to stop this..
[h=1]Judge: Films, TV serials polluting people’s mind[/h]Madurai: The Madras High Court bench here has observed that some television serials and films are “polluting the mind and attitude of the people”.

Justice Kirubakaran made the observation while hearing the bail plea of two men, accused of raping a 60-year-old, mentally challenged woman in 2016.

The judge said sexual crimes against women had increased of late and that sufficient action was not being taken to prevent them.

“Some TV serials and films are polluting the mind and attitude of the people,” he said.

To feel so we need to have evidence.
Its hard to proof that films and TV serials pollute the mind.

It could have an influence but its hard to say for sure.

That way can we say even Puranas pollute our mind?

For eg..Indra Ahalya episode..illicit liaison?
Draupadi being publically humiliated..God knows what would have happened if Krishna didnt rescue her?

Would these two episodes create lust in the readers mind?

We would surely say NOPE!
We would say..these stories are meant for us to learn from it.

Likewise even any movie...there would be some villain and he would be involved in crime..rape etc..then hero would come finish him off.

Very few movies or serials glorify act of crimes..even though content might be violent but eventually " good" triumphs over " evil" then you would have the police rushing in at the final take before director yells CUT!

Here is the study result… the proof.

Our Judges normally pass orders only after all evidences, cross examination, witnesses and after applying their mind.

Here is the proof..

[h=1]How Movies Can Change Our Minds[/h]As the reactions to “Selma” and “American Sniper” suggest, movies often still have the power to provoke national debate.
Do they also have the power to affect our view of government?

A recent study by Michelle C. Pautz, an associate professor of political science at the University of Dayton, suggests films can act as an influence. Dr. Pautz asked undergraduates at a private Midwestern college to fill out a questionnaire regarding their views on government before and after viewing the movies “Argo” and “Zero Dark Thirty.” She found that after watching the films, 20 to 25 percent of the participants changed their opinion — and generally more favorably — on a variety of questions about the government. Their trust in government increased, for example, as did their general optimism about the direction of the country.

Both films portray the government as “lackluster” at best, Dr. Pautz writes, yet they still offer two central characters — Tony Mendez (Ben Affleck) in “Argo” and Maya (Jessica Chastain) in “Zero Dark Thirty” — who are “hard-working and determined.”
Dr. Pautz believes young viewers may be especially open to the influence of movies.

But it is difficult to say, she added, “whether that influence lasts years, decades, or a lifetime” — yet “the influence of movies along with other factors may be quite substantial.”
