I found that link amusing too..thats why I put it in forum and wanted everyone to join in and have some fun reading it...cos the trend these days is everyone is an TB..

1)Jesus
2)Darren Sammy
3)SRK in Ra One..

Why does everyone want to be a TB? Is it like getting into an exclusive club? Did we check with Jesus whether he really wants to join? Is there anybody who wouldn't want to be a TB?

... she was completely and innocently deceived because Indra assumed the form of Rishi Gautam.
No biswa, Valmiki does not leave any doubt that Ahalya knew it was Indra. We had a discussion about Prof. Ramanuja's essay on Ramayana. We can find the exact para and verse of valmiki in this essay.

Cheers!

Sri. Nara, greetings.

I was told in the same lines too. That is, Ahalya knew about Indra's advances.

Created by the god Brahma as the most beautiful woman in the universe, Ahalya was married to the much older Gautama. In the earliest narrative, when Indra comes disguised as her husband, Ahalya sees through his disguise but still accepts his advances. Later sources however, often absolve her of all guilt, describing how she falls prey to his trickery, or is raped. In all narratives, Ahalya as well as her lover Indra, are cursed by Gautama.

Interestingly, we are back to the same question: whether the woman ought to be blamed!

Wonder what Jesus Christ would have to say about this, this is his thread after all. Probably: "Let who is without sin, cast the first stone". Interestingly about another supposedly adulterous woman.
