Another IAS official, advocate under scanner

Chennai: The Income Tax raids at the residence and office of former Tamilnadu Chief Secretary P Rama Mohana Rao ended early this morning, even as searches reportedly continued in his son Vivek Vishnu's house and at the properties of two other government officials.
Sources said, sleuths also targeted Vishnu's office at Nandanam and his friend's residence at Valsaravakkam this morning.

Further, reports suggested that I-T sleuths were interrogating K Nagarajan, Managing Director of the Tamilnadu Warehousing Corporation, whose office at Anna Salai and residence at Old Pallavaram were raided. While some say that the searches were done on 17 December, others state that the raids were held this morning.

Officials are said to have seized 6 kilograms of gold and one and half crore in cash. A Tamil portal however quoted the official as saying that no raid happened in his house.
