In mahalakshmi sahsranama one nama is read as "krodha sambhavayae namah"

First separate the words (sandhi can be added later):
Kshera uttava smabhavyae namaha:
ख्शीर समभवायाये नमह:
is right. This means the sea was churned and due to that you were born, I salute you.
It has to be remembered that when the script was not developed, everything was through hearing (karna), thus later when the script was developed mistakes did happen. This is found in all languages throughout the world. Krotha means angry, when Laxmi came out she was shining and not angry.
