Millions in the world today go without one morsel of food;

Millions of tons of food are wasted or allowed to rot for no good.

Feeding the hungry millions is the duty of the society;

Want of food shouldn't cause anyone any anxiety.

If for want of food, one is to die of starvation,

It Is a shame on the part of the entire nation.

The one who feeds the hungry is divine;

It elevates him to the level of a God in a shrine.

( of all the dharmas, feeding the poor is the greatest)

A well maintained and well used latrine
Improves the aesthetics and hygiene
Is an asset to the health of the family
Makes everyone live long happily
But an ill maintained toilet is worse
Than no toilets at all and is a curse!

Only few are better than you;
You have got what is your due.
Millions are there below you struggling;
console yourself and stop wriggling.
Thank God for what you are
and be happy with what you have.

Hearing is the greatest bliss
Without which you don't know how much you miss
I rejoice at hearing noises
I enjoy hearing familiar voices
I could enjoy the melody of lilting music
The denial of which so far has made me fall sick
All along both my ears were totally shut
And the entire outside world was completely cut
But now with these hearing aids
I could hear the roar of the sea and its tides

A REAL STORY AFTER READING WHICH YOU WILL REALISE AND FEEL SORRY.

TRUE AND INSPIRING SHORT STORY
Germany is a highly industrialized country. In such a country, many will think its people lead a luxurious life. When we arrived at Hamburg , my colleagues walked into the restaurant, we noticed that a lot of tables were empty. There was a table where a young couple was having their meal. There were only two dishes and two cans of beer on the table. I wondered if such simple meal could be romantic, and whether the girl will leave this stingy guy.
There were a few old ladies on another table. When a dish is served, the waiter would distribute the food for them, and they would finish every bit of the food on their plates.
As we were hungry, our local colleague ordered more food for us. When we left, there was still about one third of un-consumed food on the table.

When we were leaving the restaurant, the old ladies spoke to us in English, we understood that they were unhappy about us wasting so much food.
“We paid for our food, it is none of your business how much food we left behind,” my colleague told the old ladies. The old ladies were furious. One of them immediately took her hand phone out and made a call to someone.
After a while, a man in uniform from Social Security organization arrived. Upon knowing what the dispute was, he issued us a 50 Euro fine. We all kept quiet. The officer told us in a stern voice,
“ORDER WHAT YOU CAN CONSUME, MONEY IS YOURS BUT RESOURCES BELONG TO THE SOCIETY. THERE ARE MANY OTHERS IN THE WORLD WHO ARE FACING SHORTAGE OF RESOURCES.HAVE NO REASON TO WASTE RESOURCES.”
The mindset of people of this rich country put all of us to shame.
WE REALLY NEED TO REFLECT ON THIS. We are from country which is not very rich in resources. To save face, we order large quantity and also waste food when we give others a treat.

THE LESSON IS:- THINK SERIOUSLY ABOUT CHANGING OUR BAD HABITS. Expecting acknowledgment, that u read the message and forward to your contacts.
VERY TRUE -”MONEY IS YOURS BUT RESOURCES BELONG TO THE SOCIETY.

The price of fame

If you want to become famous
You shouldn't be a doubting Thomas
Develop the talent in you that is latent
Make it grow visible and patent
You must strenuously work hard
You must ever be on your guard
You work unmindful of the final result
No use going to an astrologer to consult
You have to overcome many obstacles
No use depending on supernatural miracles
You get deeply immersed in the job on hand
You must strongly hold on to your stand
You may get tributes from many of your fans
Who will side with you and all your plans
An equal number may become hostile
Who may criticise you with words that are vile
You must be able to take tributes and insults alike
And must learn to put up with all this and be sage like
You have to be always in a state of apprehension
To maintain your state of celebrity and ascension
You have to keep your temper under control
This is what you have to adopt as a rule
Don't just be carried away by the glitter and glamour of fame
Unless you are prepared to bear all said above in the game

Pleasure is shared with cheers
Grief is shared with tears
Laugh aloud and scream aloud
To show your happiness in brief
Weep aloud and cry aloud
To get relief from your grief

Life is full of numbers galore

As soon as i am born
i am in a state of slumber
Until i get a name to remember
Every day has a number
Every month has a number
Every year has a number
My birth is identified by these numbers
My house has a door number
My street has a ward number
My town has a pin number
Prefixed by its area code number
Thus my address has many numbers
In my school i hated numbers
Because maths is full of numbers
Even history has lot of numbers
Every page of a book has a number
I am given an attendance number
I get for each exam a number
Which i have to remember
Thus my school days are full of numbers
Even the games that I play are numbers
Cricket is full of mind boggling numbers
Sports is full of numbers
Strangely there one is the most valued number
The rupee is just another number
The changes too are only numbers
Unless i am familiar with these numbers
I am just a timber or a lumber
I work for a salary which is a number
I fight to get an increase in this number
Every spending is a number
For which i maintain an account which is a number
I have now an Aadhar number
Which assures me that I am a living member
I have a mobile and a landline number
Which all make my mind go number
I have my friends' number
Which I have to remember
My bank gives me an account number
My deposit carries its own number
If i am a police, i am known by a number
The criminal whom i punish also is just a number
If I go by bus, i must know its number
If i have a car, it must have a registration number
My train ticket has a number
Your seat has a number
Your berth has a number
My flight also has a number
My passport has a number
My transport has a number
My Credit card has a number
The pin for it is a number
My PAN card has a number
To pay my IT, i have to remember
The gadget that i purchase has a number
Its guarantee period is a number
At times of trouble, both of which I have to remember
My account is full of numbers
and the amount that i handle is all numbers
In the hospital i am allotted a ward number
Or given a general or special room number
My fever is measured by a number
The medicine dosage is a number
If I don't follow this number,
My days are numbered.
If you don't have these numbers
Your society doesn't recognise you as one of its members!
Democracy is a rule by majority members:
elections are mere games of numbers.
Even after death, unless you give your policy number
Your family will be deprived of slumber
The day of death is a number
The annual thithis are also numbers
So there is no escape from numbers
Numbers have come to rule us for ever
And we live buried under so many numbers
So our life is full of numbers
If I have omitted any number
It is because I have forgotten to remember.
