Footwear for Seniors - Suggestions please

dear Mr. Sunder,
Please try to get a suitable model, design and size of the MCR slippers for your father. They are made of Micro Cellular Rubber both for gents and ladies in various colors and models.
I find so much relief wearing one pair that now I do not want to wear anything else. Women have to stand for long hours in the kitchen and also walk a lot inside the house.
This slipper is a real blessing for old people with health problems and those who are overweight. You may get two pairs - one for the use in the house and one for the use outside home.
They are NOT available in BATA shop but almost every popular shoe shop stores them The average cost of a pair with a good grip below the sole is ` 200 Rs.

for 1000-2000 U CAN get an expandable shoe with soft breathable interiors, most suitable if there is cardiac failure, as the feet swells up on standing and walking.
Bata or even a good pharmacy in velachery/IT highway CHENNAI should have it. can try burma bazar or imported shops along ECR. even better get a cobbler to stitch it!!
