Does anyone know if this book is still for sale? The copyright on the web site went out in 2001. Does anyone have any reviews on the book? Thanks!

Please try Hinduism for Dummies.I think its an excellent start for western initiates.Just a suggestion.

I actually have been Hindu for years now. I have "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Hinduism" by Linda Johnsen and "Essentials of Hinduism" by Swami Bhaskarananda. I also have books on scripture. I actually recommend those two books for new Hindus.

Over the years I have read a lot of books on Sanatana Dharma and those are the best two I've come across. Thank you for your suggestion, however.
