Dount on doing regular abishega pooja for god idols

Hi

My father recently expired on sep 2 vinayagar chadurthi. Today 27th day finished so vathiyar told tomorrow onwards we can do pooja in home.

I have god idols and usually I will perform abishegam. Whether the same can be done from tomorrow or after 1 year only I have to do abishegam for god idols in home. Request to clarify.

hope you were doing pooja / abishekam before sept 2 also on a daily basis. If so there is no restriction.
what sastra says , no bar for nithya poojas being done at home.
you can check up with vadhyar also.
