Do we need to support reservation in every field

Reservation for the so called lower caste has become mandatory even if they are from economically forward section. There are so many brahmin children who are intelligent, and deserve a very good higher education but due to the policy of resevation they get left behind.Think of childrens of some sastrigal or gurukal in a temple in a remote village. why is it that nothing is being done for such children
