Dear members ,

I am glad to introduce myself to you as a resident of Coimbatore for the past 6 years . I am a retired PSU employee .

I am proud to be a Brahmin and I admit that I have not learnt VEDAs till date - but I do daily puja . I strongly believe that we must set an example for the future generation by cultivating and adopting our Brahmin Culture and Rituals - while we have every right to change our lifestyle according to changing times , we must not give up our pujas and rituals. It is essential that we are respected as Brahmins first by the public at large .

Mr. Chellappa,
Welcome.
Please read the forum rules. Even though the site says Tamil Brahmins, there are members of other caste, non-hindus, and non-Indians. So please be aware of sentiments of others in your posting.

Hope to see you in other threads, we shall learn from each other.

I like your statement
It is essential that we are respected
