Cow Dhanam - require guidance, advise how and when

My father passed away last month. We are planning for Gho Dhanam. Please could you give me some pointers and leads on this.

Gho Dhanam : Always give pure native breed cows for gho dhanam. Gho must have yielded atleast one calf. Only when the cow yields the second calf it is called a Gho. Give Cow and calf toghether for Gho dhanam. Please serve the gho maata for atleast few days, build a bond and then do dhanam. Please find a satpatram to take the dhanam. Dhanam must be given with gho maata decorated with gold and silver. Gold must be filled in the horns, hooves and neck. If not filled, we can atleast give 1 gm of gold if possible. Give feed for the next few months plus min quipments to tend to the cow and also some money. Any dosham in taking care of the cow will come to the person who did the dhanam. So try to be doing this with sincerity and hard effort. PEriava anugraham
