Chennai software engineers sweep temples, clean tanks


Every third Sunday of the month, they rise early, pack their lunches and leave for the nearest suburban station to catch a train to work. They carry shovels, cutters, brushes and brooms in bags. They are not daily wage labourers, but a group of 30 young people from Nanganallur, most of who are software professionals. They are members of Sirutondar Uzhavara Narpana Sangam (SUNS), an organization formed by three software professionals to take care of minor maintenance work in small temples by spending money from their own pockets.

It should be an inspiration to others; I have seen many Sai Devotees doing this without expecting any thing.

Nowadays many highly paid Software Professionals in Chennai, goes to serve in Hospitals , and other places.
Both Husband wife does this at least one day in a week.

ஒரே சொல்லுக்குப் பல பொருட்கள் (அர்த்தங்கள்) இருப்பது வழக்கம்.

'பொருள்' என்பதற்கே 'thing', ' meaning' என்று இரு அர்த்தங்கள் உண்டே!

இங்கு 'கடன்' என்பது 'கடமை' என்பதையும்,

'கிடப்பதே' என்பது 'இருப்பதே' என்பதையும் குறிக்கும்!
