Beard, has it become a standard among youth?

Sporting a beard and hairdo resembling a cricket hero is fine if the person is in india.

If the youth is in india or the US , he might get mistaken for a person from a minority religion and get hurt.

There is an atmosphere of violence in metros.Youth may get hurt in mob action

Facial hair is a fashion. Older generation finds it difficult to accept it. Yes one might be mistaken, but they are willing to take the chance.

On one side, it is good, our boys going back to "rishiculture" on the other side, why should all look like terrorists, sorry for using that term.

It has become a universal standard for youths, especially educated youth to sport a beard and a hairdo resembling Virat Kohli!.
The Brahmin youths are no exceeption. It is rare to see clean shaven,Oxford crop on the head.
What is the feeling of parents of presentday youth?

If a youth feels that growing a beard and stylish hairdo improve one's masculine Authority, he is free to wear.

It is trend!

It is one's personal choice and we should respect them. As parents, we do have limitations.

Facial hair for Muslim men is as much sacred as sindhur for Hindu women . When there is cross over selectivity creeps in !

Nusrat's sindhur is inclusive India - but not மோடி's தாடி - It is a fashion statement!
