If you thought all of India’s business leaders were born with a silver spoon in their mouth, you are wrong. Even those who were heirs to established business empire, made it a point to equip themselves academically to tackle the challenges posed by the winds of change and uncertain future.

Your point is not clear to me. Most of the business barons shown in the slideshow are born into rich families which we call 'born with a silver spoon in the mouth'. It is quite clear that by their very academic qualification they would not have become the business tycoons they are. It is another matter that they also added academic qualification to enhance their image.

You either missed the point, or ignoring it.
The article said that in addition to being born they acquired these additional qualifications. The all went to prestigious school outside India. Where they had to prove themselves on their own merit. Money alone does not bring smartness.

Dear Prasad Ji

Very informative post - Thanks. That's Corporate India. The pathetic thing is India Inc.

Q : " What is the requirement to be a minister in India ? "
Ans : " One has to be an MP / MLA ".
Q : " What is the requirement to be an MP / MLA ?"
A : " NOTHING , just be in the news for all the wrong reasons,
many Universities will be in line to confer a Hony. Doctorate ".

Yay Yem
