It's because 259 x 39 is 10101, which is basically like taking 10 times your age three times. Because we all now that 10 times any number is just like adding a zero onto that number

Probably it works like that!!!

Dear Sir,

When we multiply a two digit number with 101 or 10101 or 1010101, we get the same digits

repeated twice, thrice or four times. But this puzzle will not work for children aged below 10!
