Times of India, ET & NDTV published videos about Tamilians falling on Amma's feet & are trying to paint that as sycophancy & belittle her

Here is what an alert viewer has written

How about another article on Italian First Family sycophancy as well? -- Tamils have an excuse - the majority of them are economically struggling and undereducated. For them, a grinder, a TV, or free gold coins for marriages etc. mean a lot - a manual scavenger and road cleaner in TN is unable to pack lunch, given the nature of his or her work (which itself Jaya is seeking to ban), and they are too poor to afford to go to hotels and restaurants - for such people, Amma''s Canteens offering
healthy, hygienic, subsidized food is a literal Godsend, as are Amma''s pharmacies dispensing subsidized medicines. - Under the circumstances, it makes sense there is so much so-called "sycophancy" in TN - these are dire and indigent people, and Jaya (for all her faults) is viewed by them practically as a Saint - a very COMPETENT, Convent-educated Saint who speaks flawless English and chaste Tamil (despite being a Kannadiga ethnically) - hence, "sycophancy" can be understood and even condoned in in this context. -- Author: I must ask you though, "What excuse do a set of well educated, rarified, sophisticated, competent, economically well off politicians like Manmohan, Chidambaram, Tharoor, Sibal, Scindia, Khurshid, Antony, and countless others have for their ITALIAN SYCOPHANCY, other than craven political opportunism and weak-minded expediency, of course?"

Why it is viewed like this?
Why can't it be taken and perceived as ET & NDTV are trying the boost the images of Amma as she is so great that she is being worshipped by senior IAS & IPS cadres.

Indian political system is totally dependent on the leader who has mass appeal. Since no party has any clear ideology, it is the leader who used to call shots. Hence, it is quite natural the second or third level politicians are at the mercy of the leader.
