21. இறைவனே! என்னைக் காப்பாற்று!

புனரபி ஜனனம் புனரபி மரணம்
புனரபி ஜனனி ஜட2ரே ச'யனம் |
இஹ ஸம்ஸாரே ப3ஹு து3ஸ்தாரே
க்ருபயாsபாரே பாஹி முராரே ||

மறுபடியும் பிறப்பு; மறுபடியும் இறப்பு; என்று மாறி மாறி வருகின்றன. மீண்டும் மீண்டும் ஒரு தாயின் வயிற்றில் வாசம் செய்ய வேண்டிவருகிறது. இப்படி முடிவே இல்லாத பிறப்பு, இறப்பு என்னும் சுழலில் சிக்கி உள்ளேன். கரை காணமுடியாத இந்த உலக வாழ்விலிருந்து கருணையுடன் நீ தான் என்னைக் கரை சேர்க்க வேண்டும்.

22. யோகியும் ஒரு பித்தனே!

ரத்2யா கர்ப்பட விரசித கந்த2:
புண்யாபுண்ய விவர்ஜித பந்த2: |
யோகி3 யோக3 நியோஜித சித்த:
ரமதே பா3லோன்மத்தவ தே3வ ||

ஆண்டவனிடம் மனத்தைச் செலுத்திய யோகி, தெருவில் கிடக்கும் கந்தல் துணியைக் கோவணமாக அணிந்து கொள்வான். அவன் செயல்கள் எல்லாம் புண்யமா, பாவமா, ஆசாரமா, அனாசாரமா என்று அறிய முடியாதபடி இருக்கும். ஒரு குழந்தையைப் போலவும், ஒரு உன்மத்தனைப் போலவும் அவன் தனக்குக் தானே மகிழ்ச்சி அடைவான்.

23. 'நான் யார்' என்று யோசி!

கஸ்த்வம் கோsஹம் குத ஆயாத:
கா மே ஜனனி கோ மே தாத: |
இதி பரிபா4வய ஸர்வமஸாரம்
விச்'வம் த்யக்த்வா ஸ்வப்ன விசாரம் ||

" நீ யார்? நான் யார்? எங்கிருந்து நான் வந்தேன்? என் தாய் யார்? என் தந்தை யார்? இவை அனைத்தும் கனவைப் போன்ற மாயை அல்லவா?"
இப்படியெல்லாம் சிந்தித்து இந்த உலகமே சாரமற்றது என்று உணருவாய்.

24. ஸர்வம் விஷ்ணு மயம்!

த்வயி மயி சான்யத்ரைகோ விஷ்ணு :
வ்யர்த்த2ம் குப்யஸி மய்யஸஹிஷ்ணு |
ஸர்வஸ்மின்அபி பச்'யாத்மானம்
ஸர்வத்ரோத்ஸ்ருஜ பே4த3ஜ்ஞானம் ||

உன்னிடமும், என்னிடமும், மற்றும் எல்லா இடங்களிலும் ஒரே விஷ்ணு தான் பரவி உள்ளான். என்னிடம் பொறாமை கொண்டு ஏன் நீ கோபம் கொள்கின்றாய்? எல்லாவற்றிலும் தன்னையே காண்பவனுக்கு ' நீ, நான்' என்ற பிரித்துப் பார்க்கும் பேத ஞானம் அகன்று விடும்.

25. எல்லோரையும் ஸமமாகக் காண்பாய்!

ச'த்ரௌ மித்ரே புத்தரே ப3ந்தௌ4
மா குரு யத்னம் விக்3ரஹஸந்தௌ4 |
ப4வ ஸம சித்த ஸர்வத்ர த்வம்
வாஞ்ச்சஸ் யசிராத் யதி விஷ்ணுத்வம் ||

நீ விரைவில் விஷ்ணுத்வம் என்கின்ற மோக்ஷத்தை அடைய விரும்பினால்,
பகைவனிடத்திலும், நண்பனிடதிலும், பிள்ளை இடத்திலும், உறவினன் இடத்திலும் பகைமையோ அல்லது நட்போ பாராட்டதே. எல்லோரையும் சமமாகக் கருதிப் பழகும் மனப் பக்குவத்தை அடைவாய்!

26. ஆன்மாவை உயர்த்துவாய் !

காமம் க்ரோத4ம் லோப4ம் மோஹம்
த்யக்த்வாத்மானம் பா4வய கோஹம் |
ஆத்மா ஞான விஹீன மூடா4:
தே பச்யந்தே நரக நிகூ3டா4: ||

காமம், கோபம், பணத்தாசை, மயக்கம் என்பவற்றை விட்டு விட்டு "நான் யார்" என்ற ஆராய்ச்சியில் இறங்குவாய். ஆத்மா ஞானம் இல்லாத மூடர்கள் நரகத்தில் மூழ்கி துயர் அடைகின்றனர்.

Bagavan Ramana Maharshi says the same thing. What is constantly illuminating the Hridaya Guhai as"I, I"("Naan, Naan") is Atman and the realisation of That is Self-Realisation.

த்4யேயம் ஸ்ரீபதி ரூப மஜஸ்ரம் |
நேயம் ஸஜ்ஜன ஸங்கே3 சித்தம்
தே3யம் தீ3ன ஜநாய ச வித்தம் ||

பகவத் கீதையும், விஷ்ணு ஸஹஸ்ரநாமமும் பாடப் பட வேண்டும்;
ஸ்ரீபதியாகிய நாராயணனின் உருவம் எப்போதும் த்யானம் செய்யப்பட வேண்டும்; மனத்தை நல்லவர்களின் நட்பில் செலுத்த வேண்டும்;
செல்வம் ஏழைகளுக்குப் பகிர்ந்து அளிக்கப்படவேண்டும்.

Sri Anna Subramaniya Iyer in his Urai on Sri Rudram published by Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore, Chennai has mentioned that one should chant Sri Rudram, Purusha Sooktham, Vishnu Sahasranaamam, Bhagavat Gita and Upanishads every day! It is similar tp Pancha Purana chanting by Saiva Siddhantha disciples! Sarvam IswaraarpaNamasthu!

28. பாவச் செயல்களை விடவேண்டும்!

ஸுகத: க்ரியதே ராமா போ4க3:
பச்'சாத் ஹந்த ச'ரீரே ரோக3: |
யத்3யபி லோகே மரணம் ச'ரணம்
தத3பி ந முஞ்சதி பாபா சரணம் ||

பெண்ணின் அனுபவம் சுகமாகச் செய்கின்றான். பிறகு உடலில் நோய் நொடிகள் உருவாகின்றன. மரணம் தவிர்க்கவே முடியாதது என்றாலும் பாபச் செயல்கள் செய்வதை யாருமே விடுவதில்லையே!

29. பணத்தால் துன்பமே!

அர்த்த2மனர்த்த2ம் பா4வய நித்யம்
நாஸ்தி தத: ஸுகலேச': ஸத்யம்|
புத்ராத3பி த4ன பா4ஜாம் பீ4தி:
ஸர்வத்ரைஷா விஹிதா ரீதி: ||

பணத்தை சுகம் என்று எண்ணாதே. அது எப்போதும் துன்பத்தைத்தான் தரும்.
பிள்ளையிடமிருந்து பணம் வாங்கினாலும் பயம் தான். எல்லாவிடங்களிலும் பணத்தால் ஏற்படும் துன்பம் சமமானதே.

30. மனத்தை அடக்குவாய்!

ப்ராணாயாமம் ப்ரத்யாஹாரம்
நித்யா நித்ய விவேக விசாரம் |
ஜாப்ய ஸமேத ஸமாதி4 விதா4னம்
குர்வவதா4னம் மஹத3வதா4னம் ||

மூச்சுக் காற்றை பிராணாயாமத்தில் அடக்குவதையும் ;
பிரத்யாஹாரத்தில் புலன்களை அடக்குவதையும்;
'நிலையானது எது? நிலை அற்றது எது?' என்ற விவேக ஞானத்தையும்,
ஜபம் செய்வதையும் ,
சமாதி என்ற மனதின் ஒரு நிலைப் பாட்டினையும்
நீ ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு நன்கு அவற்றைச் செய்ய வேண்டும்.

31. குருதிருவடிகளே சரணம்!

கு3ரு சரணாம்பு3ஜ நிர்ப4ர ப4க்த :
ஸம்ஸாரா த3சிராத்3 ப4வ முக்த: |
ஸேந்த்3ரிய மானஸ நியமா தே3வம்
த்3ரக்ஷ்யஸி நிஜ ஹ்ருத3யஸ்த்தம் தே3வம்||

நீ உன்னுடைய புண்ணிய, பாவங்களாகிய பாரத்தையெல்லாம் குரு திரு அடிகளுக்கு அர்ப்பணம் செய்து பக்தி செய்தால், விரைவிலேயே உன் பிறவித் தளைகள் நீங்கிவிடும். உன் இந்திரியங்களையும், மனத்தையும் நன்றாகக் கட்டுப்படுத்தினால் உன் உள்ளத்திலேயே அந்தர்யாமியாக உள்ள இறைவனையும் நீ தரிசிப்பாய்!

முடிவுரை.

மோஹ முத்கரம் என்னும் தொடர் முடிந்து விட்டது. ஆனால் இனிமேல் தான் நம்முடைய சாதனைகள் தொடங்க வேண்டும்.

ஒரு முறை படித்ததோடு நின்று விடாமல் தினமும் ஒரு ஸ்லோகத்தையாகிலும் மனனம் செய்யவேண்டும்.

அதன் பொருளை ஆழ்ந்து சிந்தித்தால் அவை நன்கு மனதில் பதிந்து நமது விவேக வைரக்கியங்களை வளர்க்கும். :flame:

உலகிலிருந்து கொஞ்சம் அதிகம் விலகி, இறைவனிடம் கொஞ்சம் அதிகம் நெருங்குவோம்.

குரு திருவடிகளே சரணம்.

but M.S.S. took it to the common people like us. The slokaas are known to

everyone under the name Bhaja Govindam-whether or not the meaning is

I am already neck deep in commitments and may not be able to oblige your request, regarding creating a separate file!

I too copy paste . I type in g mail using rich text and then copy paste it in the threads.

Whether it is one word, or one line or one page, the same method is being followed by me. It is not very difficult either.

However I plan to create a new blog in wordpress.com with this series.

I will let you know as soon as it is ready. It will be one continuous file -without any comments in between.

Dear Amma,
Well..Yes.I am planning to read slokas one per day..Here , I am trying to give the nearby meanings only from the Saint poet's Thirukural to the Baja Govindam hymns.I know these meanings are slightly differ from the old Tamil hymns like Thirukural,Naladiyar,Moothurai etc.Any how these versions are collaborated with our Tamil hymns more or less.

ஓ மூடனே! இன்னும் பணம் வேண்டும் என்ற பேராசையை ஒழி. நீ முற்பிறவியில் செய்த நல்ல கர்மங்களுக்கு ஏற்ப இப்பிறவியில் செல்வம் கிடைக்கும். தானாக வரும் செல்வத்துடன் திருப்தி அடைந்து, மனக் குழப்பத்தை விட்டு விடு!

There are two things I have to tell you Mr. Siva Shanmugam!

This sloka says that we should be satisfied with whatever we get as a

result of our good deeds in the past, and be happy with our lot.

Satisfaction can keep away our mental disturbances and greed.

The other IMPORTANT thing is that the red colored letters are ONLY to be

used by the administrators and the law men of the Forum.

So choose any other color except blue(used for quoting passages) and

Red (used for official purposes).
