மாமியார் பாசம்

ஒரு பஸ் நிறைய இளம் பெண்களும், மற்றொரு பஸ் நிறைய அவர்களின் மாமியார்களும் ஒருவரை ஒருவர நன்றாகப் புரிந்து கொள்ளும் ஆர்வத்தில் ஒரு பிக்னிக்குச் சென்னார்கள். சென்ற வழியில் மாமியார்கள் சென்ற பஸ் பெரும் விபத்துக்குள்ளாகி அதில் இருந்த அனைவரும் இறந்து விட்டனர். இதனால் அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்த பெண்கள் தாரைதாரையாகக் கண்ணீர் விட்டு அழுது அமைதி ஆனார்கள். ஆனால் ஒரு பெண் மட்டும் துக்கம் தாளாமல் விடாமல் விக்கி விக்கி அழுதாள். யார் சொல்லியும் அழுகையை நிறுத்திய பாடில்லை. உடனே பக்கத்திலிருந்த பெண் இந்தப் பெண்ணைப் பார்த்து
" உன் மாமியார் மீது உனக்கு அவ்வளவு பிரியமா?" என்று கேட்டாள். அதற்கு அந்தப் பெண் அழுது கொண்டே" எப்படிச் சொல்வேன்? கடைசி நிமிடத்தில் விபத்தான பஸ்ஸில் வரவேண்டிய என்னுடைய மாமியார் வயற்று வலி என்று வராமல் போய்விட்டாள்" என்றாள்.

Now a days all D/Ls are well educated and employed. They show lot of affection & concern to M/Ls.
They won't allow M/Ls leave home not even for a single day !!
Otherwise they have to deploy a servant maid!!!

Nowadays MILS are also wise.

They stay far away from DILs to live on their own and avoid the prospect of becoming domestic helps.

Most educated self sufficient MILS favour this to getting involved with sons/Dils.

Ask any widow of means.

She would like to live in a free world at a respectable distance from DILs.

Their logic- we have suffered our husbands and put up with upbringing of children.

They would like to enjoy the balance lives to do their own thing and experience what all they have missed out in life.

They would not like to be loaded with the responsibility of baby sitting and kitchen help in DILs homes.
