This word normally means any thing not done correctly, Mistake, Out of order etc But in the southern districts it means the opposite! See these expressions in routine conversation to understand. To handle a thing safely the expression will be கோளாற கொண்டு வா . To describe a delicate precision job it will ரொம்ப கோளாற செய்ற வேலை . Though not exactly similar to the expression in English the word Hard used to convey opposite meaning like Works hard & hardly works.
