I hope it is anathasayanam with lakshmi. That is sayana thirukolam.
Sayana thirukolam can be worshiped but it should be kept in one place
permanently. Chalanam of sayana thirukola perumal is not prefered
but at times like transfer of family or moving family in one palce to another
chalanam may be permitted but after attaing the destination thriumanajanam should be
done and kept in a permanqanet olace rsr

If it is in small size 2 inches length and 2 inches height and one inch width you can do puja and abishekam and archana in your house daily.

Can I buy and keep ananantshayanam idol at home.aprox 4 -5 inch in brass or copper

Dear All,

I m planning to buy an anantashayanam idol (in Brass) of Vishnu with Lakshmi . Can we keep it at home for worshipping.
Please suggest

Generally, brass idols were not recommended for puja; instead idols made of panchaloham, or of bronze only were preferred in the olden days. I don't know the reason. Idols made of silver or gold are OK.
