[h=1]Windows 10 now has 200 million users[/h] January 10, 2016 Kishore Ganesh Leave a comment Edit
Windows 10 is the operating system that Microsoft sorely needed. Windows 8 was a complete and utter failure, but more importantly, Microsoft itself was stuck in a position where it dominated a slowly dying industry, and its efforts to become innovative had failed.
It then made the call to make Windows 10 free, and it really paid off, since millions of Windows 8 and Windows 7 users have readily upgraded to Windows 10. In fact, according to Microsoft, Windows 10 has been installed on over 200 million devices, which is a huge number and perhaps the best adoption rate of any Microsoft OS to date.
Plus, the usage statistics are off the charts, since users have clocked over 11 billion hours in Windows 10.
