Namaskaram. My parents have no son, we are only 2 daughters. My father is turning 70 in 2 months, and we wish to take parents to a temple and perform a homam for bhimaradhasanthi. Pls advise which temple is suitable for this, what homam to perform, etc.
The most apt place will be Thirukkadaiyur...Please see the link for details about the place...It is a famous Saivite shrine...The place is associated with Markandeya & Abhirami Bhattar...It is famous for Shastiapthapoorthi (60th birthday), Bhimaradha shanthi (70th birthday), 80th birthday (sadabishegam) and other Ayul Shanthi homams
I have visited this place a few years back for a family function...The temple authorities make all arrangements for the function (including boarding, lodging, puja, naivedyam etc)
