Here is an interesting news item published in the issue dated 27 November 2012 of "The Telegraph"
under the Caption " When an Ambassador does not quit: Chitra Narayanan refuses to leave Switzerland".
Which is available in the following URL
Farewell, farewell but no welcome - Yahoo! News India

Brahmanyan,
Bangalore.

ChitraNarayanan is the daughter of Former president K.R. Narayanan who was also ambassador in various countries.. Now

we can understand the 'Power' behind her..

More than being the daughter of Shri K.R. Narayanan, the ex-President of India, who is no more, I think the power lies in the most preferred category to which he belonged. But her mother was a Burmese lady who became an Indian citizen after marriage.

Dear Tmt VR

The Ambassador - as with the namesake, is here to stay! After all, the Indian Automobile Industry
must pride itself as (probably) the only one in the entire world to mass-produce vintages !

" Brands may come and Brands may go ....... But The Ambassador goes on Forever ".

A 1958 Morris Oxford [ upgraded from Landmaster (!) ] still going strong and in all probability
may still be around in 2058 !

So, in this scenario " Ambys may come and Ambys may go, but the Prez's Gal goes on for ever ".

You re right, she deserves the BOOT - butno coat / suit.
Yay Yem
