What was the real purpose of Shukla Yajurveda when the Krishna Yajurveda was already present? Inviting answer from Any Vedic scholar on any references to the purpose. Sun instructed that to Ygnyavalkya….Thanks a lot
It's given here in this site.
It explains initially there was only Yajurveda but after Yagnavalkya episode where he vomited what he learnt and birds swallowed up the vomitus and the Sun God taught him and the new portion was called Shukla as in clarity apparently the Sun God organized it well.

Then the Yajur Veda which was vomited became to be called Krishna Yajurveda.

Btw I am not a scholar.
