Dear Neeyathi

This sloka is about Shri Suryanarayana Swami

The god who has been continuously worshipped by Devas, pithrus, Yakshas (A sect of devas equivalent to gandharvas), Asuras, Nisacharas (They are a sect of asuras known as Rakshasas) and who has been pouring his golden rays all over and who has the ability to give peace, I worship the god Oh. Shri surya deva...

This shows that the sun god is equivalent and common to all. He is the god of both suras and asuras; Devas and Rakshasas. This shows his familiraity and also his gracefulness towards all the creatures of this universe.

Pranams
