We are visiting kasi to see temples. As my husband's elder brother is not coming we are not performing pitru karma. Still, can nadhi tharpanam only be done? What about pinda dhan? Will anybody who has recently visited kasi give names /phone numbers of a few decent hotels? Thanks.

Jaipuria bhawan is very near the viswanath temple and dasawamedh ghat. It is run by Marwaris and hence the food is more vegetarian than vegetarian - no onion, non garlic, no food served inside rooms. Food is served by uniformed men in a very clean dining hall where you have to eat sitting on the floor. For a day long outing lunch/tiffin packets are arranged. Rooms are very airy, bright and clean.
