Hon. Finance Minister Smt Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2019-20 in the Lok Sabha on July 5, 2019. She is the first full time female Finance Minister of India. If she completes her full term she would be first Indian lady to do so. Smt Indira Gandhi held the position for a short period of one year.
