This years Trissur Pooram was celebrated with much gaiety and enthusiasm. It was a wonderful extravaganza and concluded peacefully among much hyped uncertainty . The Kollam incidence has almost pulled curtains on this years Pooram. Conducting such a gala event is not a joke everyone must agree. The famous Elanjithara Melam performed by over 700 men in unison was a treat to watch. More than 80 elephants were pressed in to service during the entire event 30 of them being assembled for the famous Kudamattam at the Vadukkanathar Ground
