Read in Facebook that today - the 1st Wednesday in Dhanur maasa is the 'Kuchela Day' - the day when Kuchela met with his childhood friend Sri Krishna with 'aval' (pOha)! In Guruvayur it is supposedly a very auspicious day, when the god Sri Krishna will be offered pOha for his naivedyam.
