I wonder how the pea hen manages to collect the sexually potent peacock tear and drink it without any hands or a cup to help her!

The Hummingbird is a pollinator. A pollinator is an animal or bird or insect which goes to a flower to drink nectar and gets covered with pollen. Hummingbirds are more attracted to red and orange coloured flowers.Their wings move in the shape an 8, making it possible for them to hover. They are able to fly sideways as well backwards too. A Hummingbird can fly faster than most other pollinators.

நாலு வகை பக்தர்



பக்தி, இறைவன் அருள் வேண்டியே
பக்தர்களால் நன்கு அனுசரிக்கப்படும்;
பலன் எதிர்பாராமல் பக்தி செய்பவர்,
பல ஆயிரம் பேர்களில் ஒரே ஒருவரே!

கோவில்களில் ஜனக் கூட்டம் அலைமோதும்;
காவி உடைக்கும், பூஜைக்கும் பஞ்சமில்லை;
இத்தனை பக்தர்கள் இருந்த போதிலும்
இத்தனை மோசமான உலகம் எப்படி?

விசித்திரமான இந்த வினாவுக்கு
விடை அளிப்பவன் மாயக் கண்ணன்;
படைத்தவன் அறிவான் நம் மனத்துள்
அடைத்துக் கிடக்கும் ஆசைகள் எல்லாம்!

உலகின் போகங்கள் அனைத்தையும்
உல்லாசமாக அனுபவிக்க வேண்டியே
கடவுளிடம் நன்கு பக்தி செய்வார் பலர்;
கடை நிலை பக்தர்கள் ஆவர் இவரே!

செல்வம் சேரவேண்டும் தம் மனம் குளிர;
செல்லாதிருக்க வேண்டும் தம்மை விட்டு;
நில்லாமல் ஓடி ஓடிக் கும்பிடுவர் வேறு சிலர்
எல்லாக் கோவில்களுக்கும் சென்று சென்று!

மூன்றாம் நிலை பக்தர்கள் இவர்களின்
மூச்சு பேச்சு எல்லாம் சொத்துச் சேர்ப்பதே;
எதுவும் தருவான் இறைவன் ஆனால்
இது மட்டுமே இவர்களின் கோரிக்கை!

இறைவனிடம் இரண்டாம் நிலை பக்தர்
இறைஞ்சி வேண்டுவதோ பகுத்தறிவு.
இறைவனையும் மாயையும் வேறு வேறாக
அறிந்துகொள்ளும் சக்தியும், ஞானமுமே!

முதல் நிலை பக்தனோ முழு ஞானி!
மனத்தை அடக்கி, இறையில் திளைத்து,
மமகாரத்தையும், அகங்காரத்தையும்
முற்றிலுமாகத் தொலைத்தவன் அவன்!

தாயும் தந்தையும் ஆன நம் இறைவன்
தருவான் நாம் விரும்பி விழைவதை;
கோடீஸ்வரனிடம் கோடிகள் பெறாமல்
வாடி நிற்போமேயானால் அது யார் தவறு?

The dare to bare girl

The model was very daring;
She was used to body baring!

Her mind accepted her erring;
It was free from guilt bearing.

Her costumes were glaring;
She loved the crowd blaring.

She enjoyed the crowd staring;
She heard the men swearing!

It was her childhood rearing;
The control on her was sparing!

Her lover's heart was tearing;
He needed a quick fresh airing.
 
That lady was married to a very irresponsible man.

His family called him as a 'tharuthalai'.

His friends called him a 'thillaalangadi'.

They have four children of which three are girls.

With a great difficulty, dedication, drudgery and discipline the lady reared them

and educated them very well and got all of them settled in life.

All her four children have reached very high position and are financially very comfortable.

That lady's efforts did no go in a waste.

She made her exit from this physical world at the most auspicious time known to us.

It was during the utarAyanam, the sukla paksham on EkAdasi thithi during mid day on a Monday.

I bet she clung on to the nearest beam of Sun's Rays and reached the Soorya MaNdalam

or even higher abodes reserved for the best among the human beings.

May her soul rest in peace. :pray:

May God produce more people like her who teach the world never to lose hope and

to keep on striving and struggling with a mind free from all negative feelings! :pray:
 
Hard to believe that none of these associated with pregnancy were noticed by that woman. :suspicious:

Missing the monthly cycles, the bulging tummy, the foetus moving around in the tummy, the unmistakable gain in the weight. :bump2:
Was she so huge and so voluminous and heavy that these did not matter or were too trivial even to be registered by her?? :faint:


 
Just before that noble lady's soul left this world, at the most auspicious time, she mumbled something,

which her son deciphered as 'Eno'. He kept one Eno packet in her hands, during her last journey, saying

that she has never ever asked for it in her life time.
Hmmmmmm. I know that she was calling her first grandson 'Vinod'! :decision:

அசுரர்களில் சிறந்த பிரஹலாதனாகவும்,
பசுக்களில் சிறந்த காமதேனுவாகவும்,

பறவைகளில் சிறந்த கருடனாகவும்,
பாம்புகளில் சிறந்த அனந்தன் ஆகவும்,
நதிகளில் சிறந்த கங்கையாகவும்,
துதி செயும் அந்தணருள் பலியாகவும்,

அனைத்து யாகங்கள், யக்ஞங்களிலும்
அனைவரும் செய்ய வல்ல ஜபமாகவும்,
படை வீரரில் சிறந்த அர்ஜுனனாகவும்,
பக்தர்களில் சிறந்த உத்தவராகவும்,

புஜ பலசாலிகளின் நிஜ பலமாகவும்,
தேஜஸ்விகளின் நல்ல தேஜஸ் ஆகவும்,
காணும் இடமெல்லாம் அரிதாய் உள்ளவை
கண்ணனின் வடிவமே, அழகே, பலமே!

The thunder like blunder

Sure he was an ex-boy wonder;
He committed a grave blunder;

The fact was that he did plunder;

சித்தி பெற்ற சித்த புருஷர்கள்
செய்வர் பற்பல அற்புதங்கள்!

அணுவாகத் தன் உடலைக் குறைக்க
“அணிமா” என்னும் சித்தி உதவிடும்.

மலை போலத் தன் உடலை வளர்க்க
“மகிமா” என்னும் சித்தி உதவிடும்.

கரியை நிகர்த்த உடல் எடை அடைய
“கரிமா” என்னும் சித்தி உதவிடும்.

லேசான இறகு போல உடலை மாற்ற
“லகிமா” என்னும் சித்தி உதவிடும்.

பிரியப்பட்ட இடத்துக்கு உடனே செல்ல
“பிராப்தி” என்னும் சித்தி உதவிடும்.

விரும்பிய பொருட்களை அடைந்திட
“பிரகாம்ய” என்னும் சித்தி உதவிடும்.

ஈசனுக்கு நிகரான சக்தி அடைவது
“ஈசத்வம்” எனப் பெயர் பெற்ற சித்தி.

யாராகிலும் தன் வசப்படுத்துவது
“வசத்வம்’ என்கின்ற சித்தி ஆகும்.

அஷ்ட சித்திகளும் அடைந்தவருள்
அனுமனே மிகச் சிறந்தவன் ஆவான்.

தனக்கென்று இல்லாமல் பிறருக்காகவே
தன் சித்திகளை அவன் பயன்படுத்தியதால்!

The bloke needs a brake

He mistook it to be a piece of cake;
But it became his greatest mistake.

He failed, in time, to apply the brake;
The unexpected shock did him break!

He was no doubt, among men, a flake;

Now we have gadget which CAN speak in any human voice.

Given the time and technology, an audio tape can be produced as a false witness by anyone! :(

தாசனாக இருப்பதில் மகிழ்ச்சி அடைபவர்;
அனுதினம் தொண்டுகள் செய்து கொண்டு
அனுமனைப் போலவே வாழ்ந்திடுவர் இவர்.

இறைவனைத் தனது உற்ற தோழனாகவும்,
இறைவனைத் தனக்கு ஒத்தவனாகவும்,
எண்ணி அவனிடம் அன்பு செய்வர் சிலர்
பாண்டவர்கள் போல “சக்ய பாவ”த்தில்.

தாயும் தந்தையும் ஆன இறைவனுக்கு
தாயாகத் தானே ஆனது போல் எண்ணி,
வாஞ்சையுடன் தாய் போல அன்பு செய்பவர்
“வாத்சல்ய” பக்தர்கள் யசோதையைப் போல.

உயர்ந்த பக்தியின் பாவனை இதுதான்;
உலகத்தின் தன்னிகரற்ற தலைவனை,
உண்மைக் காதலனாக எண்ணி ஏங்கி,
உருகிப் பிரிவால் வருந்தி வாடி நிற்பதே!

ஒரு இளம் பெண்ணாக ஜீவாத்மாவையும்,
விரும்பும் காதலனாகப் பரமாத்மாவையும்,
உருவகிக்கும் “மாதுர்ய பாவ” பக்தியில்
சிறந்தோர் மீரா, ஆண்டாள், ஜெயதேவர்.

The birth of a star starts with a cloud of interstellar gas and dust.

These clouds are molecular clouds which swirl around to form a star.

Since these clouds form stars, they are called stellar nurseries.

The molecular cloud turns into young star called a Protostar.

The young protostar gathers mass from the cloud and grows bigger and bigger.

The formation of A star of the size of The sun may take up to 1,000,000 years.

Sometimes the remnants of a birthing cloud is left behind in a galaxy.

ஒன்பது வித பக்தி


அன்பர் செய்யும் பக்தியின் வகைகள்
ஒன்பது ஆகும் என்பது பிரசித்தம்,
ஐம்பொறிகளையும், புலன்களையும்,
ஐயனை வழிபட அமைப்பதாலே!

இறைவனின் பெருமைகளைக் காதால்
இடை விடாமல் கேட்பது “சிரவணம்”;
சாபத்துக்கு உள்ளான மன்னன் பரீக்ஷித்து
தாபங்கள் தீர்ந்தான் பாகவதம் கேட்டு!

இறைவனின் பெருமைகளை வாயால்
இடை விடாமல் பாடுவது “கீர்த்தனம்”;
சுக முனி பாடிய பாகவதக் கதையால்
சுகம் அடைந்தனர் கேட்டவர் எல்லோரும்!

மனதுக்குள் இடையறாது இறை நாமத்தை
மனனம் செய்வதை “ஸ்மரணம்” என்பார்;
எத்தனை துன்பங்கள், இடர்கள் வந்தபோதும்
பக்த பிரஹலாதன் மறக்கவில்லை ஹரியை.

குறையாத பக்தியுடன் இறை பாதங்களுக்கு
நிறைய சேவை செய்வதே “பாத சேவை”;
பாத சேவை செய்யும் மகத்தானதொரு
பாக்கியம் பெற்றவள் லக்ஷ்மி தேவியே.

மாசற்ற மனத்துடன் மலர்களைக் கொண்டு
ஈசனுக்கு பூஜை செய்வதே “அர்ச்சனை”;
பிருது மகாராஜா அர்ச்சனை செய்தவர்களில்
பிரசித்தி வாய்ந்து, இறை அருள் பெற்றவர்.

எட்டு அங்கங்களும் நன்கு நிலத்தில் படும்படி
எண் குணத்தானை வணங்குவது “வந்தனம்”;
கண்ணனை வணங்கித் தனிப் பெருமையை
கண் கூடாகப் பெற்றவர் பக்த அக்ரூரர்.

தாசானு தாசனாகத் தன்னையே எண்ணி,
நேசத்துடன் தொண்டுகள் புரிவது “தாஸ்யம்”;
“என் கடன் பணி செய்து கிடப்பதே” என்பதில்
அனுமனை யாரால் மிஞ்சிவிட முடியும்?

சரி நிகர் சமமாகத் தன்னை எண்ணிக்கொண்டு
இறைவனிடம் நட்புக் கொள்ளுவது “சக்யம்”;
உண்டு , உறங்கி, பேசிப் பழகிய அர்ஜுனன்
கண்ணனிடம் கொண்ட பக்தியே சக்யம்.

தன் உடல், பொருள் ஆவி அனைத்தையும்
தயங்காமல் அர்ப்பணிப்பது “ஆத்மநிவேதனம்”;
அனைத்தையும் அளித்ததால் அழியாப் புகழ்
அரசன் மகாபலி செய்த ஆத்ம நிவேதனத்துக்கு!
