Thank you for good wishes.A diagnosis of Congestive Cardiac Failure(CCF) was made.
The name sounds scary but early stages its still Ok.
She is on diuretics now with complete bed rest.
Thank God she didn't require admission.
So she can rest in the comfort of her home and be monitored by me till her next follow up.

Dear Renuka,

The same was the case with my mother in last December. She was under treatment for the same Congestive Cardiac Failure. Suffered from Lungs Congestion. She used to feel giddy, unable to walk even few steps balancing herself, could not breath comfortably/properly as well. Suffered from pains and fever very often.

But, just being under medication at home itself didn't help her. She ended up with acute lever congestion as well due lots of medication (she was consuming Post Varicose Vein Surgery Medicines as well). It got worsen and ended up vomiting 3 to 4 times a day.

She could be cured only by admission in the hospital under the supervision of a Cardiologist, for nearly 10 days. That was very very effective with constant monitoring, providing breathing adapter for inhaling medicated mist, highly effective high dose of antibiotic injections to clear off infections/congestion and diuretics through Glucose Drips. She was given medicine only for fever which kept effecting her randomly during the treatment. I left for Chennai on December 1 for the very same purpose in an emergency and got her admitted. Since dad's Varshaabdi was in january, during my yearly vacation, I advanced my trip and stayed in Chennai for 4 months, taking care of mother and all the household work.

She was then discharged from the hospital and there after she became perfectly fine.

Off course, you being a Doctor, can well monitor your mother's health and do the needful at the right time, at home itself.

I wish your mother speedy recovery, with complete rest at the comfort of her home and by constant observation of her loving and caring daughter, as a Doctor. I pray that she gets well completely and does not require admission in the hospital.

I don't think it is that easy. 'dhushtan' usually targets soft victims. Soft victims are the ones who try to avoid 'dhushtans'. Just think about it; 'dhustans' seldom bother other 'dhustans'.

Mystery solved at last.

(I assure you Mr. Raghy, this is the concluding post on pains and aches and you won't find any more of these in the future, featuring any pain)

The recent shoulder pain was ever increasing. When the elbows were raised the pain in the shoulder also increased unmistakably.

The culprit was the high laptop desk made by me by taping together two short plastic stools. Their combined height was causing the pain as I spend hours at a stretch in typing.

It dawned in my dream ( it always happens that way right???)
that the stool was the root cause on the INCREASE in the already existing pain.

So the stool went to the attic. I am back to my folding table with my lap top.

Moral:
Any unnatural position of our hands causes discomfort and pain in the other remote joints.

Age + Motherhood makes many changes in the body of a woman.

She should think of her health too and shed those kilos.

But don't worry she will lose it soon..I have seen some celebrities...initially they let go themselves till they balloon out of proportion and then get some personal fitness trainers..work out and lose all the weight but claim that they lost it chasing the kids around the house.

But I feel sad for Aishwarya that when she was slim the whole world praised her but now when she is fat the same world finds fault with her.
It only goes to show people only like us when we make them happy and in her case when she makes people"visually" happy.
