Do not know what people have in their mind these days?

I had a patient who brought her sick child and she was asking at the counter that if possible she would be given a receipt which showed more than the actual amount paid...in other words a fraudulent receipt!LOL

We told her receipts will only be written the same amount as charged.

She was not happy and left saying she will go to another clinic where she can get a receipt which showed more than what she is going pay so that she can claim more from her company.

Poor child was crying and looked sick but the mother preferred dragging the child from clinic to clinic looking for a doctor who would issue a fraudulent receipt just to satisfy the patient.

In SingArach Chennai, no one need to get sick for medi-claim!

Most of the pharmacists can give medicine bills for the amount required, charging 10% for their service! :dizzy:

P.S: Now you will know why lots of cosmetics and sanitary napkins are sold in the medical shops.
Some ladies buy them, billing them as some medicines! :juggle:

Out here only receipts from doctors are reimbursed by companies cos here doctors have dispensing rights and patients do not have to go purchase medicine from Pharmacists.

We see patients and also dispense medication to them and charge them for consultation and medication.

But there is a move in the near future to remove dispensing rights of doctors...but so far the public is not agreeing to that cos it will be extra hassle for them to see a doctor and then go to the pharmacists.

So to keep public happy the government so far has not imposed this ruling yet as for now.

My pick is 22. Then suddenly all people will jump on me. The scientists and rationalists will say I am a daft, do not know basic arithmetic, leading the discussions to mass, velocity, planets, stars, dying stars, big bang theory, string theory, einstein, darwin, dawkins etc.

The spiritual lot will counter with maya, advaita, nirguNa and saguNa brahman, dvaita, vishistadvaita, abrahmic and hindu religion, vedas, puraNas, mythology and the discussions will be back to original TB forum discussions with medicine thrown about in between and detailed discussions on alcohol, industrial alcohol, alcohol swabs.

Result: very high TRP rating and high volume midnight postings. Praveen will open a new thread reminding people of netiquette and members of all groups will ritually mark their "like" to his message and get back to their discussion of whether or not there is an invisible dot between the two 2s.
 
Is it not strange that not a single person commented on the man who FLOODS my threads with unwanted and unrelated images but people tell me not to write unwanted comments. These may be unwanted comments but certainly these comments are not undeserved. I wish I were as clever and as smart a you to block the gate before the blokes enter into the thread.

I am NOT blogging these wretched feelings and giving him more prominence and permanency than he deserves.
I do not write to increase the number of posts but I write to let out my feelings amidst people who MAY be able to relate with my problem. Obviously there is none here in spite of the 4 dozen friends in the list and the others who are not in the list.
