அபுதாபியின் இளவரசரும், ராணுவ துணை தளபதியுமான ஜெனரல் ஷேக் முகமது பின் ஜயத் அல் நஹ்யான் காரில் சென்று கொண்டிருந்திருக்கிறார். அப்போது ஒரு பள்ளிக்கு வெளியே சிறுமிஒருவர் தொலைந்தது போன்று தனியாக நின்று கொண்டிருந்திருக்கிறார். இதைப் பார்த்த இளவரசர் காரை நிறுத்துமாறு கூறி தனது உதவியாளருடன் அந்த சிறுமி அருகே சென்று நீ

ஏன் இங்கு நின்று கொண்டிருக்கிறாய் என்று கேட்டார்.

அதற்கு சிறுமி, தனது தந்தை வந்து அழைத்துச் செல்ல வேண்டும். ஆனால் இன்னும் வரவில்லை, அதனால் தான் காத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன் என்றார்.

சிறுமியை தனது காரில் வீட்டில் இறக்கிவிடுவதாக இளவரசர் தெரிவித்தார். அதற்கு சிறுமியோ முன் பின் தெரியாதவர்களுடன் பேசக் கூடாது என்று தனது தந்தை தெரிவித்துள்ளதாக கூறினார்.

உடனே உதவியாளர் அச்சிறுமியிடம் இவர் யாரோ அல்ல அபுதாபியின் இளவரசர் என்று கூறினார். அதற்கு சிறுமி, அது எனக்குத் தெரியும். ஆனால் பழக்கமில்லாதவர்களுடன் செல்லக் கூடாது என்று என் தந்தை கூறியுள்ளார் என்றார்.

இதைக் கேட்ட இளவரசர் சிரித்துவிட்டார். சிறுமியின் தந்தை வரும்வரை அவருக்கு துணையாக சாலையோரத்தில் அமர்ந்திருந்தார். இளவரசர் சாலையோரத்தில் அமர்ந்திருப்பதைப் பார்த்த மக்கள் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டனர்.


நம் ஊர் 'சாக்கடை கமிஷன்' கவுன்சிலர்களாவது இதைச் செய்வார்களா????????\\

street smart means the experience and knowledge necessary to deal with the potential difficulties or dangers of life in an urban environment in this world (on earth). Reaching Mars does not mean "street smartness". Pakistan, a smaller country has at least one dependable ally (for the time being, at least) viz., China which is also its neighbour and together, both those countries have built an Economic Corridor, including a highway (& railway) passing through what perhaps is India's territory and is now disputed as "Pak occupied Kashmir".

India, on the contrary seems to be at loggerheads with China and is definitely against Pak, while its other neighbours like Bangla Desh, Myanmar or Srilanka are too small as compared to China.

Now, tell me who is more street smart?
 
Each one has his/her own ways of looking at the street smartness of a nation.:-)

100% true...I was just thinking the same yesterday..no other profession gets screwed for negligence.

That is why sometimes it feels not that great being a doctor.

A doctor these days needs to at times see the patient as a potential 'enemy".

That is why I never attend functions at patients houses and be too friendly with patients..we never know when any small mistake can make the best of patients become our foe.

But its high time other professions too be trialed for negligence.

When a lawyer loses a case for his client nothing happens to his licence but if a doctor looses a patient he is sued and has the risk of losing his licence.

Totally unfair.

When a politician screws up the nation..he is not sued for negligence too.

Its high time the law is fair to all.
 

Doctor Mam,

Unlike other profession, Doctor profession is considered noble bcos it deals with preserving life, the precious one and believed to have been gifted by God.

It is now covered under Consumer Protection Act 1986 in India and so long as the Doctor receives fees, the patient is considered as a consumer.

Is bringing the Doctors profession under CPA is a blessing or curse??
