Priya's Versatile Recipes: Thenga Manga Pattani Sundal/Yellow Peas Sundal

P.J.Sir,

On seeing this posting, I got two things to my memory. The first one Navrathri and the second one happen to be Marina Beach.

On Navrathri days, it is customary to prepare verities of sundal on all nine days and Pattani Sundal is one favorite for most.

The second one is enjoying the cool breeze by sitting on the sandy beach of Marina in the evening hour, munching sundal and chatting with loved ones is a nice experience.

The good development is, with strict enforcement of child labour laws by the authorities concerned one cannot find young boys selling this item nowadays at Marina.
