Dear Raghy,

I felt sad and also lost in the many mysteries of nature which are beyond human understanding even today - how does this bird imitate sooooooooo well!

Dear Sri.Sangom, Greetings.

Yes, it's quite a mystery. I have seen 'water snakes' act like cobras when cornered! It just shows the intelligence of other birds and animals. Aussies name this bird as 'llyre' (liar) bird due to its imitations. (I haven't seen a lyre hen; I doubt that imitates too). Australia is home to few starnge animals and birds. For example, Kangaroo and Emu are not capable of walking backwards!

Cheers!
