Tamil New Year Recipes:

Tamil New Year also known as “Varusha Pirapu” is on 14th April 2015. This year’s name is “Manmatha”.
It is a time for celebrating new and prosperous beginnings. Let us celebrate it.


The highlight of the festival is the food prepared on the day. The main ingredients consist Mango (Sour), Jaggery (Sweet) and Neem flower (Bitter). This signifies all the different aspects of our life.


Mango Pachadi or Neem Flower Pachadi and Neem Flower Rasam are the special dishes prepared for Tamil New Year.
Cook some special recipes and enjoy with your family and friends on this Happy New Year Day.
