The above link contains one Editorial appeared in 'Viduthalai', official Daily of Dravidar Kazhagam and lot of counter arguments. An excellent example for 'MITHRA BEDHAM'. Smt.Jayasree Saranathan, a Hindu astrologist of Tamilnadu, has conclusively established that the Tamil tradition was to follow the Tamil New Year Day starting at Chittirai and never at the month of Thai. Here are the links to the two-part Tamil research paper of hers:

I am glad to note that Hindus are exposing the wanton hypocrisy and the incurable ignorance of the followers of EVR and refuting their nonsense then and there these days.
