Tamil Calender.

Thank you,
Yes it does but for this I have to be online everyday. I was hoping to find something that I can download and take printout off and keep it in the kitchen.

The Tamil monthly calender is really good.I was told by onelearned person living in California that Panchang prepared in India may not be very
accurate for places outside the country. He suggested to follow panchang given in the website"www.mypanchang.com" which is available for major cities in the world.I open the website and see the Panchang applicable to the city'Fremont' which is near to our city'Newark'
One can take printout for each month. This panchang takes into account time adjustments made in different countries.
The thithi and Nakshtra indicated in this Panchang differ to some extent with the data given in Indian Panchangs and calenders.

Since TN and US west coast are more or less on opposite sides of the globe, the position of moon will differ and that of sun will differ by a few minutes of arc. Consequently, the tithi and nakshatra will differ for the same moment. Since our festivals and rites are based on tithi and nakshatra, mostly, these will fall in different periods in the two places. So some good panchangam made for the particular place.
