My thesis is both Tamil and Sanskrit originated from Aryans. Aryans who migrated to the south established Tamil there.
This group themselves were aliens possibly from the vega star system. They also established Sanskrit in the north. They had extraordinary capabilities and possibly the rulers of the universe.
