Few of us wish to go from Mysore to talacauvery for amavasai tharpanam on 18th. Can some please explain us the stay at Mysore and travel & further details . We reach Mysore on morning of 17th. Thanks & Regards

it is 205 km from mysore to talakaviri. In mysore you can stay in HOtel Maurya/Guru (call 91-22-42754878) and arrange for vehicle for going to talakaviri and return. Either way, dont miss to worship Lord Shiva in Bagamandala and thriveni darshan
